If you want to do some shopping, the best place to be is in the area centred around via del Corso, via del Babuino, via Condotti, Piazza di Spagna and Piazza del Popolo, where you will find all the most prestigious clothing, jewellery and shoes shops: Armani, Valentino, Missoni, Dolce & Gabbana, Krizia, Fendi, Versace, Prada, Gucci and Ferragamo. On via Condotti you can visit Bulgari and Cartier, as well as La Perla’s boutique, and on smaller streets crossing via del Corso, such as via delle Carrozze, via della Croce and via Fratina, many other interesting shops. In your way to piazza Venezia, take a look at the areas around Campo Marzio and the Maddalena for more prestigious boutiques such as Cenci’s, a popular brand specialised in traditional British style clothing. If you like handcrafts, head for piazza Navona, where you will find a lot of traditional shops selling rush products such as rushed chairs, baskets and much more. |
